RelayBolt Inc. ("RelayBolt", "we", "us", or "our") operates the RelayBolt AI DM automation platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information about you when you use our service at relaybolt.ca and app.relaybolt.ca.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when creating an account (name, email address, business details) and information generated through your use of the service (features used, pages visited, session duration). When you connect social channels such as Instagram or WhatsApp, we process message content through those channels solely to deliver the AI automation service on your behalf. We do not read or store message content beyond what is required to generate and send AI replies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the RelayBolt service; send transactional communications (receipts, alerts, security notices); respond to your support requests; and comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
RelayBolt uses the following third-party services to operate: Clerk (user authentication and session management); Meta Graph API (Instagram and WhatsApp message delivery — subject to Meta's own data policies); Anthropic Claude API (AI message generation — message content is transmitted to Anthropic's servers for processing); Neon (PostgreSQL database hosting — data stored in encrypted cloud storage); and Vercel (web hosting and content delivery). Each provider operates under its own privacy policy and data processing terms.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data and conversation history for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting hello@relaybolt.com.
5. Security
We protect your data using industry-standard measures including AES-256 encryption at rest for sensitive credentials (such as social channel access tokens), TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, and access controls that limit data access to authorised personnel. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but take commercially reasonable steps to protect your information.
6. Your Rights (PIPEDA)
As a Canadian resident, you have rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), including the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate data, and withdraw consent to our processing of your personal information (subject to legal or contractual restrictions). 7. Cookies
RelayBolt uses session cookies strictly necessary for authentication (managed by Clerk). We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or analytics cookies that identify you personally. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but this may prevent you from accessing the dashboard.
8. Children's Privacy
RelayBolt is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The effective date at the top of this page reflects when the current version was last revised.
